Thomas Heath, MBA is the President and CFO of GlycoMira Therapeutics.  Before joining GlycoMira, Tom Heath served as Senior Vice President at NPS Pharmaceutials. He was a Founder-Director-President at Echelon Biosciences and also was Pharmaceutical Division Manager at Pfizer (Montreal, Canada).

     Mr. Heath received MBA from David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.

Thomas Kennedy, M.D. A co-founder of GlycoMira Therapeutics, Tom Kennedy is a Professor of Medicine at the Georgia Health Sciences University. Dr. Kennedy’s research interests are biomedical applications of heparinoid compounds to treat human diseases. He is one of our major driving force in research and development.
    
     Previously, Dr. Kennedy was Professor of Medicine at the University of Utah. He received his medical training at the Vanderbilt University and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Glenn
Glenn Prestwich, Ph.D., A co-founder of GlycoMira Therapeutics, Glenn is Presidential Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Presidential Special Assistant for Faculty Entrepreneurism at the University of Utah. Dr. Prestwich’s research interests are hyaluronan derivatives for tissue engineering and reparative medicine, lipid signaling, and anti-inflammatory therapeutic compounds. He has received numerous awards for his contributions to science and technology including the Governor’s Medal for Research and Technology, the Volwiler Research Award of the American Association of College of Pharmacy among others. He is also a co-founder of Echelon Biosciences, Sentrix Animal Care, Glycosan BioSystems and a science advisor for Novozymes, Carbylan BioSurgery, Frontier Scientific, Organonovo, and Brickell Biotech.
   
     Before he came to Utah, Dr. Prestwich served as Professor of Chemistry
at the University at Stony Brook, Professor of Biochemistry & Cell Biology, and Director of the New York State Center for Advanced Technology in Medical Biotechnology. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University and B.S. from Caltech in chemistry.

Siam Oottamasathien, M.D. is one of our key collaborators, Assistant Professor of Surgery and Pediatric Urology at the University of Utah and Primary Childrens' Medical Center Intermountain Health Care. Dr. Oottamasathien's primary focus on research is inflammatory diseases in the urinary bladder and tissue engineering.  He received awards from the National Kidney Foundation of Utah and Idaho Grant, Primary Medical Center Foundation Early Career Development Grant, and American Urologic Association (AUA) Foundation/Pfizer Benign Urologic Diseases Grant among others.

    Dr. Oottamasathien received his medical degree from the University of Colorado and fellowship training in Urology at the Vanderbilt University.
